About Me: Female, 45, Orlando, FL, member since Oct 2008
Hello I have been on this site since Oct 2008 and it has helped me so much and I have made some wonderful friends. I am 29 yrs old and live in fl. I have been married to a wonderful man for last 3 almost 4 yrs now. He is so supportive of me and my health problems as i
[More]s my family and friends. For that I am grateful. When I was 18 yrs old I was in an car wreck and messed my back up pretty bad and had to have surgeries. At first they helped me tn pain came back worse than before. I have been dealing with pain since 1998. The first thing the doctor did was put me in oxycotion and just keep upping the dose and if I knew then what I know now I would have NEVER took the first one. I tried 30 rehab and after I was done with the detox part I realized how bad my pain was and knew that I did need some form of pain medicine. I tried many different things. Suboxone did not work for me made me very nervous and could not sleep. Also did not help my pain. Some people say that it does but NOT FOR ME. At was at a very dark place in my addiction and felt like I had no where to turn. I had spent 60,000 in less than a year on opiates alone and was ready to loose everything. My dad said call this number I think this man will be able to help you out. I was willing to try anything to help get me out this dark place. I called and was a man he said was head of Methadone Clinic. I been clean 2 yrs and stable dose 95mg. Helps with my pain and my life is pretty normal. Great job, hubby, family, bought house and money in bank. I am pretty happy.
Hi Holliee!! My name is Chris an I'm from North Carolina an I am too on methadone as well. I am on 130mgs. An if I don't get six to eight hours of sleep or don't get enough sleep... Then after I dose an about two or three hours later when my dose starts kicking in I get nauseous if I don't have enough sleep! And I ask my doctor at my clinic about promethazine or phenergan an it is OK an he wrote me a prescription! I take a 25mg tablet once a day or really the days that I am having bad nausea from not getting enough rest. So in closing and answering your question for me... phenergen is a wonderful drug and helps me so much with my nausea and may help you as well! Good luck!!
Thank you. No, we never really found out what happened but it is okay. She is gone and I am not so obsessed about getting answers at this point, it has been 6 months now. I still miss her alot though. I had another dog that had epilepsy, she had a seizure over the weekend and died. I am so devastated. We took her to the vet, they did what they could and we brought her home, she was still in shock but she died laying beside my husband, where she was happiest. I am done with dogs, I have 2 now. One whio is about 9 years old, her name is Missy. We have a puppy, Hailey, she is about 6 months old. My husband found her laying under a tree in the cold rain and brought her home to me. I love them so much but it is hard when they leave us
