Yes it is Sentic cycle. Dr. Manfred is/was a musician and researcher. Wikepidia has referred to sentic cyle. why searching foe cosmic laughter, I found no. of sites on the subject. OSHO a controversial spiritual teacher has spoken one laughter. It is a good article. He presents old concepts in a novel way.
I must have read Dr. Manfred's book in seventies. He has done work on Sentic cycles. It did not become popular as meditation become popular and as sentic cycle is just similar( at least goal is similar). As we know breathing pattern is important. In yoga, pranayam is important.I know Sentic cycle never became popular as I had purchased book in heavy discount.Secon book was also purchased by me and given to one doctor who is yoga expert as well. He took little interest. That time laughter therapy was also not popular. I did try cosmic laughter for some time.As I did not get any support, I also lost interest. Google has this website. word is centic or sentic cycle. Of course you would not find word cosmic laughter as the book has not elobarated enough to attract attention.
Belly laugh reminded me of cosmic laugh introduced by Dr. manfred. Continue pressing you 3 or 3 fingers on a table surface and breathing in the same pattern of laughing.
There is not need for sound.Dr. manfried was introduced centic cycle which helps to reduce tension.Of course 50 years back. we have hit which is dry.Not suitable for hypothyroid patient like me.Shitli parnayam may help.Yet to succeed.
