I went through the same symptoms for past 7 yrs. Was also diagnose for anxiety & put on meds. Symptoms persisted. Did my own research & later found out I had GERD. It causes heart burn/hollow sensation of the chest. Difficulty to breath or swallow. Because It took so long to find out my the cause of my problem. By the time I figured it out. I have already developed a ulcer in my esophagus. Check with your doctor
I had the same symptoms you did for 7 yrs. Had my heart & lungs checked, and later diagnose with anxiety & was put on meds for it. The meds helped for a short period. But symptoms persisted. So I did my own research & later was diagnosed with GERD. Your hollow/burning sensation is due to heart burn or Inflammation of your intestine. I had a endoscopy done & they found ulcer in my esaphagus. Prior to finding my problem was GERD, I was put on medications that made my ulcer worst. And because I was not aware, I was eating food that was toxic for my stomach & aggravating my symptoms. Check with your Dr about GERD.
