Yeah, I am struggling right now! Last week I started a program called "Couch to 5K" and it starts off alternating between walking and jogging, and over 9 weeks is supposed to build you up to running 3.1 miles in 30 minutes. Since I was NEVER a runner in the past, I am hoping to use this program to decrease my 5K time. If you want to check it out, just type "Couch to 5K" into google. It is a free program and you can print it right from the web site.
I reached 180 and have come to a COMPLETE hult. It is horrible, but knew it would happen eventaully so I need to just keep pushing forward. How I lost the majority of my weight was dropping my caloric intake down to 1500 calories a day. From there, I just made fitness part of my day. I go to the gym before work and with Mike and Ashtyn on weekends. I started relying on running when I was upset instead of eating. It has been a LONG road and I still have over 40 lbs to lose, but once you get on a good path, it doesn't take long for the weight to start coming off :-) Good luck! Hi Lynne, I thought we were friends on here but I guess not! Anyhow...4 weeks left WOW!! I can't believe how fast everyone else's pregnancy goes except for mine! I'll be 17 weeks on Friday...guess that's not too bad. I'm definitely not ready for this baby now anyhow!
