Just a quick note to say hi! Well, to make a long story short, I haven't had any luck getting a referral to see a Dr. for FMS--yet. Interestingly, my GP recognized more trigger points in my ankles that I don't think she noticed before. I sure wish she would send me to an expert to do the trigger test, but I do feel that she is at least not being dismissive with me. You aren't kidding about the side effects to the Tramadol. So far, though, I'm at a loss as to what else I can take for the pain--which kept me awake all night again. No surprise to anyone with CFS/FMS. I can't take opiates at all, because those make me feel a whole lot worse than this Tramadol does. NSAIDS are out due to recent kidney issues. Tylenol makes my head feel strange in a way I can't describe--more than foggy
Just a quick note to say hi and thanks for the welcome. First time I have looked for an online support group/forums, etc. and the MedHelp site seems to have a lot of info. and people I can rlate to. So thank again fo the nice welcome. Phoebs
