You deserve a big bear hug! Sylvia, Hi there, I guess you have heard that "thank you Lord" Rusty's mass was benign,it kind of hurts me to say that when you lost your baby. Rusty is all healed from the mass, but he still has to wear the cone because he has two little spots that he has bitten on, perhaps over frustration over the other one. When they heal he will again be free. My son Michael came up with the idea of using a soft U-shaped donut pillow for his neck instead, so far it is working. Sylvia maybe I speak too soon but have you given any thought to adopting a companion? All love and respect to dear Misty, in the large picture I think that she would approve. You have so much to offer a dog that has nothing left and ends up in dire straits (the Pound) This is part one of two. Darla
You're in my thoughts all the time, but especially today. Hi S. I took Rusty to the vet today because he had what I thought was a wort on his paw. Turns out it's a mass. We will set appointment for removal and after that send it in to see if it was malignant or benign. I am petrified. If something happens to our boy it will devastate Mike & I and most especially me. We never get to keep them long enough, it seems. Rusty is only four or five years old. So I'm pretty sad today. I still think of Ginger and what that angel went through. I hope that time is being kind with your broken heart dear. Take care, Darla O
Hey I have a Nook not a Kindle, can I get your book about Ginger?
Hi Sylvia, Margy was kind enough to make a status last yr to let us know you had written a book about Misty! That is so cool!! I had intended on buying it asap, but found out it is only available on Kindle. I don't have a Kindle, I'm sad to say. Anyway, just wanted to congratulate you on getting Misty's story published! I would dearly love to read it, as I know it would be touching, heartwarming, funny, and sad at the end. It's okay though, I know her story well, and like I've said, I will never forget her or you, as you are her, and she is you. I know you miss your girl every day. It is so dear you memorialized her. Love and Hugs to you, sweet friend. ♥Rena
I can imagine with the loss of Misty, it's just not the same on the Dog forum. She is, after all, what brought you here to MedHelp. It's a shame you're not here as much...you give such compassionate, excellent and knowledgeable advice. What about the fund you started in Misty's name? I reread her story again tonight, and although it still makes me cry, I just love it. It will always be special to me. Is it too soon to think of another dog?
Wishing you well, Ginger. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, honey~ XoXo ~ ♥
