Just reading this. I am freaking out.
24/7 calf fasciculations. Constant. I cant detect weakness. Neurologist thinks probably benign.
Did your go away? worsen. Its been many years
Fasciculations are not just because of weakness, they are also the result of overuse of a muscle group. My neurologist told me that if you overuse a muscle or group of muscles, then relax them, they can start twitching, as mine have for a couple of months ago. I went through the same worry about MS, ALS, etc. and even had a spine MRI to rule out something on my spinal cord impinging the nerve running to my left quad muscle. Like you I am very physically active and do a lot of lifting, walking, etc. and I basically just overuse the muscles. They say you should exercise, like most don't do nowadays, but I guess there is definitely a limit to how much your body can take, we all have sure found that out!!
