Hi there! my name is Claudia and I'm having a similar pain as you are. I had surgery in my spine about 3yrs ago. Before anything you should ask for an MRI even if they say it's not necessary, they don't know, they're not in your shoes. You might have arthritis.Have them do ex-rays.Don't settle for only pain management.Thant's what my doctor wanted,but I requested to see a specialist and it seems I really need another surgery.Hope is not your matter, but take care. Ask for your ex-rays and look for other opinions. One doctor may not be enough because he may have limited acknoledgement of your problem in his field.
