HI! Thanks for the post on reflux. I was just wondering what reflux medicationis your baby on. We tried Zantac and it didn't work, so I was wodering what else is out there for an option.
Here are some natural ways to induce labour (doesn't work for everyone though):
- walking
- climbing stairs
- eating spicy foods (depends if they give you heartburn as well)
- raspberry leaf tea (which is disputed in inducing labour, although it worked for two of my friends within a period of 7 days, drink around 3 cups a day)
- castor oil (although I think that's sooooo disgusting)
- pineapple (fresh, as it has a special enzyme)
Raspberry leaf tea has other advantages such as shortening the birth, lowering the rate of forceps delivery, reducing bleeding after birth, helping in the production of breastmilk, amongst others.
I'm going to go for the tea as it seems as though it has alot od advantages and my midwife recommended it as well.
Good luck!!!
Just a quick note to say hi! Yeah I love the pram, it's got a crown on the side with little diamantes....so princess like!! Unfortunately, there wasn't the car seat with it but I got one which looks very girly like. We're one week apart. Hope everything is going fine with you :-)
I've been feeling great for that far in pregnancy, I expected it to be worst, my first 4 months were really bad, I guess that's why now I am feeling fine. No major pains (but I've been feeling pain around belly button too, not savere tho). I am having baby shower this weekend, can't wait - it's a surprise, so I dont know anything about it. On Mon I am having an ultrasound to see if my baby is still in breach position. Hopfully she flipped - we will see
