Just a quick note to say hi! my son is 16 almost 17 soon and yes he has been diagnosed he has autoimmune thyroid and he need s to get into meds. He got my wonderful genetics. I have autoimmune throiditis and my son got vitiligo which attacks his skin cells and now this thyroid problem. The reason i noticed this on him is because he kept on gaining weight, tired alot, cold at times, and he rides his bike alot and doesn't eat like everybody things he does and he still gain alot of weight. Too familiar symptoms. So I asked the doctor and bingo. Now he is not the type who likes taking medications because he already is depressed and not very happy about his vitiligo condition and now this? I feel so bad for him.
