Before I decided to actually do something about this, I would just lay in my bed all day watching mindless TV, sometimes even TV shows I didn't like, just to make the time past by, but now I've realised that isn't the answer, so right now I try to talk lenghty walks each day just to get out of the house, I also try to sit with my family a bit more, watch TV, eat food, and generally communicate, I now try and avoid being on my own as it only gives me more time to think about my anxiety.
I'm a college student studying media and journalism, and it's going ok right now, but sometimes my anxiety can make it really hard to actually do anything, and sometimes I can't enjoy what i'm doing, and I feel like **** basically, but i'm trying to learn how to overcome these sensations such as Diaphragmic Breathing, which apparently helps anxiety and panic a LOT, nothing's really happening yet, but I hope it will eventually.
hi, well with the tinnitus..what i do to sleep is leave the t.v. on and put pillows on each side of my head...it sounds silly but it really does work for me... i hear a deep humming noise lately ...its really annoying.

You bet! I guess I've always had anxiety on a lower level, but 5 years ago it took over my life. I managed to get by on meds until the last spring, then it slowly creeped up on me again. It took me 5 months to recognize I needed help. Luckily I am back on track and doing all the behavioural changes I neglected the first time around.
This site has been great for me. Everyone knows what anxiety is and can empathize.
