I know about the aches and pains! And you ARE still young - lots of great things ahead for you to exerience. And yes, I too think the tiredness is the worst side effect. I am learning to deal with it and thank goodness my husband is so understanding and helpful. We just came back from a short vacation - took our horse to the Kentucky Horse Park for a week. The weather was pretty awful, rain and cold. We had a nice time but I was glad to get back to sunny Florida. No return appt yet - labs are still really good!! Francine
Hey Debbie, how are you doing??!! Haven't talked with you in quite awhile.
Francine
I think I'm doing okay. My AST & ALT level were elevated compared to my previous labs, but still within acceptable limits. Working through what I believe is prednisone withdrawal - extreme fatigue and joint pain/weakness. I've been very fortunate in not catching so much as a cold during the past year. I do try to be VERY vigilent using gallons of hand sanitizer, not touching anyone, Lysol spray. If I even think someone is sick I make them leave my department! LOL. And yes, I am extremely happy with my choice of Shands. Actually I think it was more luck since I was sent there as a transplant candidate.
The baby in my picture is my grandson Jack. We celebrated his 1st B'day last week! I take it the baby in your picture is yours? Let me know how your appointment goes on Friday.
Debbie, how are you doing?
