Hi i'm 30years old with 3 beautiful little girls aged 1, 2 and 7 - they are my world x Have spent the last several months or so battling a mystery illness with now the suspicion of POTS, or my illness is caused by an adrenal tumour thats been found, recently diagnosed
[More] with coeliac disease, I also have several deficiencies inc B12, folic acid and Iron. My symptoms have been many including: tachycardia, dizziness, near faint, palpatations, sweating, nausea, hypoglycemia, weakness, chest pain, cardiac T-wave inversion, very unwell, weight loss, numbness, breathlessness, tingling, blue nails, temporary vision changes (sensitive)....shall I go on!!!
I have had 3 c-sections (hence my beautiful daughters x), 2 ops for Cholestaetoma and a simple tonsillectomy/adoinoidectomy that turned not so simple as I nearly lost my life due to severe heamorraging (spelling!)
My daughters have Hypermobile joints as well as blue sclera and are currently being assessed for EDS. Eldest has Duplex kidney system with urinary reflux and uretrocele - nearly lost her due to this but now she has no problems anymore :) x She is being assessed for ADHD. My youngest daughter had surgery this year for Tethered Spinal Cord syndrome......she is doing brilliantly.....now walking everywhere...climbing on everything and is simply happier xxxxx
I will not be beaten even though I have been so low. I pulled myself up and began fighting full on..I have to my children deserve a mummy to play with, a mummy to care for them and a mummy to love them. They are the reason I push myself everyday.
Just wanted to say hi and sorry that I haven't written in a while. I was having some good days wiith my dizziness even though my bp was high and then bam I get it back in full force and as I write right now I have horrible dizziness. I did have my THS tested because of extreme tiredness and weight gain and other symptoms and came back with borderline hypothyroid but my dr didn't want to start meds since it causes palpitations. So they are going to retest in 3months..blah. Anyway I was wondering if you got your results back from the professor that you were going to see? I hope you are having a good day and feeling well.
Thanks so much for replying to my post! I'm still looking for answers and at least one doctor is convinced that what is happening with me is autoimmune related. Anyway, it's nice to know that there are people in this community ready and willing to share and offer suggestions. I really appreciate it! Hope you're feeling a little better these day!
