I think its a bitter twist of w/d when we have to force ourselves to engage our passions! I think you're right about the deadline being positive though; with self motivation being sabotaged, neccessity is the next best thing!
Good luck with the show.
Hi- I am also on day 18 myself. Are you taking supplements to help your energy? I also walk every day; not a lot but just try to get things flowing again. Hang in there, we are all in the same boat and just need to be patient. I know l lack that myself.
Ultra, I read your INTERESTING post about your conversation with the doc. Good for you saying something to him. You asked a while back in one of your early posts about "what happens in 30 days". By that I took you to mean, what if you are tempted to use this again later after you have withdrawn? I have thought about that A LOT for myself and for myself, if I find myself craving tramadol again in the future, I'll be looking for a meeting schedule for NA or AA.
Hi Ultramatized! Yeah, this whole system of MedHelp takes some getting used to, huh? Especially, as you noted, we are 1/2 brain dead at this point anyway. Do I understand that you are in some way associated with theater? My wife was a costume designer for an equity actors guild and we still travel to SO Oregon every year to spend a few weeks in Ashland at the Oregon Shakspeare Festival. You are doing GREAT and your posts are so helpful to the people coming up next. Keep posting! Fred
