I got an itchy rash with back pain about 9 yrs ago. My Dr shrugged it off and froze some of them off and sent me on my way. I have had bouts of pain off & on all these years, but no more visible rashes other than a few bumps (only I seem to feel). I also have a dark patch of skin where the rash first was. Also not explainable or seen by Drs. One Dr said, oh that little spot? Well, that little spot gives me excrutiating pain on my right side of my back. So bad that I am in tears quite often. I've been to several Drs who just dismiss my pain as arthritis or a strain. It will itch like crazy and hurt like heck for several weeks...then seems to give me a break for a few weeks. Then comes back with a vengeance. Ice Packs help the pain, but can't use them constantly!
