That is helpful. I know from experience that it IS helpful to keep an eye on the doctors, but if you start to get too pesky, then it can be a problem so it is a balancing act. But mistakes/oversights are made - so knowing all that is going on and being alert is a must.
I had pituitary surgery, and then an infection, and after that had trigeminal nerve issues (nothing compared to what you are going through) but I would think that numbness would not be normal, that somewhere a nerve is being effected.
Being cold - see if she is running fevers from time to time, or it can be just coming down from the anesthesia.
Have you found support groups locally - others that have had the same type of tumor out and know what to expect post op?
