I was referred to a rhuematologist for further evaluation, but there is blood test that shows indicators, which could be ordered by your PCP, and then depending on results can refer you to a rheumatologist. I think it was a blood test that measures the inflamation in body/ if your PCP does not knw which one i am talking about, i will look up blood work to let you know.
