thanks for the note
I'm OK. Sleeping a lot. Pooped. Jeesh, it's like I'm an infant again. All the good things - eating, sleeping pooping. Not experiencing any setbacks like infection or the dreaded Lymphedema and trying to remember to take the pain meds when I experience pain
Just need time for everything to heal and then, being the impatient woman that I am, I asked my surgeon as sson as I woke up - when I can expect the pathology results since I am not scheduled to see her till the 22nd. That's not soon enough, I told her. She laughed and said that she would call me in 5 days
Getting lots of love and support
Just a quick note to say hi!
You crack me up. Are you writing that book?
"This Hep C journey is exhausting and stressful. The what ifs, will it return, whats next, will this disease eventually kill me. Our emotions are so raw while waiting its no wonder we are not reclining on the local psychiatrists couch.
I would chalk this up to stress. Find yourself a mantra and hummmmm away. "
Just a quick note to say hi! My posts get misunderstood and even deleted so I don't post much as I just lurk as much as possible. I just love your posts. You seem like a cool person or a very articulate writer. Lol.
If you are looking for a good read, on hepmag.com front page they have an article on where do we go from here after being cured. I have prepared to die and all my preparation was for nothing. Now I have to think about living and what that would look like. Does anyone else have that issue? It says I'm male but that's wrong. I don't know how to fix the profile.
I got hep from donating plasma in 1980. It's a long story but a dirty facility. People were catching HIV from there and they shut it down.
