In 2007, I went to a different Endo who discovered they had knocked out Parathyroid during surgery! Furious, upset and disbelief that no one checked before even with years of low calcium. I had a glimmer of myself when they first added Calcitriol followed by misery as I was probably extremely hyper at 175mg of Synthroid which my body was needing to make up for the other deficiencies. Since then a new nightmare trying to adjust. Finally got a doctor in 08 to let me try Cytomel. Again brief glimpses of my brain functioning as it once did, clear memory, etc. This was great until Cardiac symptoms, and back to synthroid and misery. On Armour 2 weeks, although don't feel well, I am optomistic that there is a future for me. I pray daily for strength to keep fighting! God Bless anyone who has these problems.
