I was wondering if you were gonna ever write back too. LOL well I am glad we can talk. I actually just had surgery in WI with Dr. Heffez.. I'm feeling ok but, I just wish I felt better.. Anyways, I posted in the Chiari Forum if you would like to read it! Thanks for getting back to me.! I hope u are enjoying this NASTY weather we are having.. I hope this is NOT how our winter is gonna be.. I hope all is well! Have a warm day!

Thank you! I tried to make an appt with Dr Oro HOWEVER, you have to have at least a 5mm herniation before they will see u............ That's the first place I called... I didn't have a measurement until after I seen Dr H in WI and even if I would have had a measurement he still wouldn't have seen me, I guess my herniation is only 4mm but Dr H said that it's not really the size that matters, its the crowding and apparently I have a lot of it at the brainstem.... I'm gonna try to get a second opinion from Dr Reeder in SD... That would definitely be closer than WI! LOL Thank you again for your thoughts! Have a good day! Jen

Thank you! and nice to meet you, I'm Jen and live in Lincoln.. I too hope things are going well for u or atleast better. It seems as though competent doctors are few are far between! hahaha Thank you for the note it made me smile through this crappy headache today!

Just a quick note to say hi! i am new to the site i have chiari considering surgery mine is only 3mm but very problamatic
