I just read your info. about your carotid artery inflammation and your TIA's. I am a 46 yr.old fm. of ave. wt./height. I was told I was vitamin B deficient. I had nausea, headaches and lots of other symtoms. I started with a tingling sensation in the back of my neck on my left side. I had a fusion and other damaged disc of the cervical spine, so I this was some of the problem. My dr. has been taking test, but couldn't find much. I had high cholesterol/trig. He then sent me for an ultrasound of my carotid arteries. Dr. said I have some blockage/inflammation on both sides. Gave a pres. for high cholesterol and told me to return in 6 wks. After reading your note, I am now contacting a cardiologist. Thank you.
