The one day at a time thing is the way to go. When you break it down that way it is manageable. And really - that is all we have - today - yesterday is gone, and who knows what tomorrow will bring - you just need to get through this minute, this hour, this day tram free
Sounds like you are doing well - hang in there
I actually have 21 yr old and 16 yr old stepsons as well as my daughters. I empathize with you. The shame associated with this stuff is enormous to me. My husband knows, and I felt so much better. I was afraid he would throw the wreck in my face, but hasnt. I truly felt like a load had been lifted since he knows. You might feel like telling him in time. If he is supportive now, I am sure he will continue!! Sounds like a good husband! Good luck!! Hope
Hi! Your story is very similar to mine. I was up to about 20-25 pills per day. Had a Grand Mal seizure while driving. I have a two year old as well as a 12 year old. I totally get your pain! Hang in there!
Hugs to you! Hope
PFC, Welcome to our world. You might want to pick up some Imodium AD for your "stomach troubles". The stuff works. Also, if you haven't taken a look and considered the "Thomas Recipe", check it out. I am sure Emily has it listed in her journal entries. Click on her Icon and review her journal entries that are listed on her page. Drop me a note if you are having trouble finding it, though it probably won't check in here for another 14 hours or so.
