Hi Stormee, got your e-mail and I deleted your note already. Will send you a long e-mail soon, have to think of interesting topics to talk about. "Talk" to you soon. Take care!
Hi again! Sorry the PVCs are back, well they did not really go away in my case. I get them almost everyday and yes, after a heavy meal I could feel them (wonder why?) but I am so glad I have taught myself to just ignore them and learned to live with them. Btw, temperature in the Philippines is mesured using Centigrade or Celsius so our 37 degrees here is about 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit there.Today is 3:00 pm here and I swear it is almost 37 degrees Celsius outside! Spring seems to be so wonderful, cool weather, flowers blooming, wow! Wish we had Spring here. Is Spring your favorite time of the year? Hope you had a wonderful Easter with your loved ones. I sure did. Take care, Stormee and God Bless.
Hi, first of all you are certainly not a pest Stormee, and I like exchanging notes with you. I am a pure blooded Filipino (or Pinoy as we fondly call ourselves) born in Manila. You were often asked if you were from the Philippines? Perhaps you have Asian features.WW2 was way back in 1941and I was glad to hear that your Dad was a soldier who was stationed here during the war. My late father was also a WW2 veteran and yes what a co-incidence that "we got to know each other" through the MedHelp Forum and there seemed some sort of connection (who knows if your dad fought side by side with my father and knew each other). It is summertime here now, temp. in the thirties, so hot and humid. All our beautiful beaches here are filled with tourists and locals. Have you been to the Philippines?
Hi, glad to hear you are not much bothered by those pesky PVCs now. Celery? Too bad I don't like celery because the ones we have here are thinner and have a strong taste which I hate. If you find other veggies that lower the bp, do inform me, pls. I am amused that thunder and lightning fascinate you while they scare me. When a thunderstorm occurs here, I stay in my bed and put the blanket over my head and put plugs in my ears so I won't hear the loud crack of lightning which I fear more than the rumbling of thunder. Did you know that when I was small, my mother told me that I should not be afraid of thunder because that was St. Peter playing bowling in heaven and I really believed her, ha ha! Thanks for writing, Stormee, regards to your family!
