About Me: Female, 57, Gainesville, FL, member since Mar 2009
I've been having 'female' problems for the past year and finally was referred to a great GYNO. I had an VUS and it came back 'abnormal' with a 3" cyst on one ovary, so she sent me for bloodwork and that came back with my CA 125 levels at 53, which she said is a concern
[More] for ovarian cancer. She wants to remove the ovary to have it tested for the cancer....is anyone else in this situation OR have you been? I'm a bit scared and my hubby doesn't know what to do or say, poor thing. Any input or suggestions?
