How now Kate? Hope you're well & that your lifes a happy one now?AOK here ~ feel very lucky to be so well. Will never believe I'm 'cured' but now I can manage the swings/roundabouts of the odd manic phases, mood's just as I want it. Acceptance of what I can't control seems right for me. No Anx/Dep for a long time ~ only those that know how bad mental illness can be are able to appreciate how good it is to be free of it. Gotta keep working at it, but the effort's well rewarded. Let's know how you're managing when you have time. Best wishes, George
I assume since you don't get manic anymore so you are cured from BP this is what doctors say. If in 3 years you don't get mania you tend to become unipolarly depressed only. This clarifies why you can take AD's only and survive.
