Just a quick note to say hi! Thank you for the additional info...no one has ever cultured for fungi. But I will ask for that to be done. Are there any effective treatments for that? I know how difficult it is to treat fungal infections in any part of the body.
These symptoms all seem to have begun when I started working outdoors in the landscaping field with plants. Spending long times in damp and humid environments I did develop a fungal infection in my toenails which took at least 3 years to get rid of. Since the sinuses are a constant warm and moist environment, I can only imagine how difficult it might be to resolve.
Just a quick note to say hi! I have endured 5 years plus of chronic sinusitus. Cultured as pseudomonas bacteria. After many, many antibiotics which help while I am taking them. The infection reccurs after 3 or 4 days after finishing antibiotics.
The smell in my sinuses is terrible and the smell of the drainage is terrible. I have now developed a horrible cough that produces immense quantities of the same stuff.
