Just a quick note to say hi! I saw your post. Idk if you had or have hep C but i did and beat it. My question was about the hives that you got back in your 2007 post. I just posted one on Itchey cyst-like bumps on my butt. You might find it if you can see my post, i'm a newbee, lol. I am also perimenopausal. I'm 51 and this is the 3rd time i got bumps i thought were big hives on my butt near the crease. They start out some small, some a little bigger; about 7 in all. Then they itch and turn red. Takes a couple of weeks to go away and causes scarring, probably from itching. Is this what you had? If so, what was it and what was it caused by? You said maybe hormonal? Funny, a couple of weeks after, same thing happened in the same area to my roommate. No pets in house, btw. Lisa

You still kicking? I am in LA for June 5 LA River Ride, 70 mile bike ride with friend Jeff who works down there as an art director for CBS. I will have a car and would go to coffee with you if you want. HCV treatment is just around the bend for me I'm thinking. Lifting weights and eating tons of protein and ignoring it's effect on my liver. Doesn't seem to be any. Cheers, Scratchy aka John
