About Me: Female, 40, Chicago, IL, member since Apr 2009
33 and TTC for six months, recently found out that I have low progesterone and was not ovulating. Did two rounds of Clomid and got a BFP on April 28th! Progesterone level looks good so far and we are thrilled!
That's so exciting congratulations!! So... how's being a mommy treating you? How big was she?
As for me we just did our first IUI which was unsuccessful so we are starting again, but I'm really not too upset that it didn't work after all it was my first ovulation EVER! So I'm just happy to have gotten this far. I'm so happy for you, I hope your not losing too much sleep :). I can't wait until you post up a picture of your little angel. Thanks for thinking about me, I have been wondering about you but i wasn't sure when you were due and I the whole new mommy thing I didn't want to disturb you. Again congrats!
Congratulations! Julia is such a pretty name :-) I'm glad that everything went so well, despite the early delivery. How are you finding mommyhood so far?
I had my baby, a boy (we didn't know the gender beforehand) on January 27, and named him Gil. According to the due date determined via ultrasound, I was just over a week late, but I think my EDD really should have been January 25, so he was on time more or less. I was induced because the results of the biophysical profile u/s I had on January 26 were "concerning" (low fluid, no big movements observed) - and he ended up being just fine!! So, now we have 2 boys: a 3 year old, and Gil who will be 7 weeks tomorrow :-)
Wow congratulations! I am so glad that everything went so well for you! I was wondering if I was ever going to hear from you again! I know those first months with a new baby can be rough... Is Julia sleeping through the night yet? I am due October 8th but my doctor doesn't think I will make it out of September (because my water broke early with both of my boys) so that is fine with me =) I bet you are loving being a mommy and it seems to me just yesterday you told me you were pregnant and now your little one is 4 months old! I am hoping to have a girl this time because this pregnancy is soooo different. I have another ultrasound this Friday and then I have to leave my fertility doctor and go to the base for the rest of my pregnancy. I am kinda sad but excited at the same time!
