I have two BS degrees in zoology and clinical laboratory sciences. I have had hepatitis c for over 35 years - geno 1a. I did interferon/ribavarin for 12 months before having to quit due to extreme dermatological and immune side effects. That was four years ago; six mont
[More]hs later VL was up to 7 million. A yen week juice fasr brought VL down to 1.6 million. LDN and supplements then brought it down to 58 thousand. Waiting for my 7th month LDN labs now.
Just a quick note to say hi! Well I guess I did take a break to sort thru all this stuff! My SVR test is Sep 27. I have cirrhosis and side effects that come with it...argh! I'm still working and taught a 5 week class, so that kept me busy too. Now, next week, I start teaching 3 classes while trying hard to not stress (that was oxymoronic!) and figure my new self out. It's all so weird as I was prepared to just die as my cirrhosis from hep c came on fast and vicious. I had to do the treatment. I had no choice if I wanted to live. So, there you have it. Btw. It's so easy and fun to get into the science and then wham, whoa, that's me! : )
Nice to read you too! I've never done "blind" social media and even managed to fail Facebook! This despite the fact I teach Digital Media! I'm a theory gal. So, I like reading your comments. Educated opinions with what seems like a lot of thought and concern. So it's nice to "meet" you or read you? That part confuses me? Lol! Anyway, I'm interested in your take on what went down today. I got the report today. I hope what I wrote helps the community too! Best, dbz
Just a quick note. Did you see the question I posted today? What a trip! I thought you might be interested. Right now I'm too steamed to even check out the "expert" advice website docs are relying on! Dbz
Just a quick note to say hi! I found your post on the "fibroscan." Thank you. I noticed no bday has said, not every single person infected with hep c is guaranteed to deal with ESLD. The NIH has a great sheet on stats regarding this. Also, viral loads fluctuate greatly--depends on your general health and stress. Sounds like you are fine. Dbz
