I had a partial thyroidectomy 17/03/09 - due to dominant nodule (2.8cm) due to get my results from the pathology on 13th May!!!!!!! - The FNA prior to Surgery was inconclusive but 2 out of 3 characteristics suggested that I required surgery! So I had the Left Lobe and I
[More]sthmus removed - they said if right lobe looked suspicious they would take that out also but it must have looked good as I still have it! - I don't really think the remaining part of thyroid think it's doing what it should be. .
