[More]n about something popping in his throat, he said he had to push it back in. a few months later it happened again and now it is happening every tine he turns his head so the ENT gave him a neckbrace and said just don't turn your head. we are waiting on auth. for an MRI, catscan showed nothing, probably because the bone was not popped out at the time!
so this is why i signed up on this site. i need answers!!! the ENT never saw this before???
please help me, PLEASE. I have the SAME problem, it has been happening to me every couple years since i was 13, i'm 45 now, and EVERY dr. i see thinks it's a crico-hyoid joint strain. IT ISN'T!! my HYOID bone displaces and goes into my throat when i swallow. It pops back when it feels like it. Please have your son email me and tell me how he pops his back, i'm so scared. i'm having a serious episode right now that has been 24 hours, and the pain is unbelievable, and i'm scared. ***@**** please e me soon!
