Just a quick note to say hi! I have a crystalens in one eye implanted June 2009. Due to various mistakes (power was wrong, lens ended up in anterior position, maybe other things)- who knows) my vision is clear only at fingertips/computer and not before or after. When I put a corrective lens over it for distance, I lose the fingertips/computer ability. Why? When I wear +2.50 readers over that I can read, thank God, but not small print. Why can't the range be expanded? Why wasn't the range expansive as advertised? Can't seem to get an answer.
Hi mmmmpppp!
Just wanted to let you know that I got an Acrysof IQ lens put in my second eye on Dec 30 and I like it better than the Sofport (although I still think the Sofport is very good also). I think the IQ gives me better contrast sensitivity, especially in low light.
No one ever knew for sure what all the bubble-like dots were in my vision. They have diminished (or blurred?) somewhat and I didn't get them wth the 2nd surgery (just a few more-visible floaters).
Anyway, the vision in the 2nd eye with the IQ lens tested 20/30 the day after surgery and I think it is really great!
I am definetly thinking of seeing another doctor. Lawyer no. Class action would be nice.
