Just a quick note to say hi! I've had the same thing for the last few years. I'm 49 yrs. It always seems to happen in my fingers & thumb area of my hand. Hope it doesn't travel to other blood vessels. Lowinaz
I read your post in June, 2010. I'm searching the web since I had a blood vessel pop in my finger . . . again. I am a male, 29 yrs. old, and have had these happen since I was in my mid 20's as well. Usually after handling a bale of hay, or rope, or carrying a bucket. It think it's the pressure from a narrow source that causes it. I hope to find a remedy to prevent it! Adam~
