I am on week 12 of weaning off of this too. Through a doctors care though. I just happened to surf the web today and see if I was the only miserable person during this time! I only see 2 posts for you and am worried for you. My story is long (b/c of foolish doctors), but not too bad of an ending! Sure would like to know more. I hope you did not quit cold turkey- it will never work, your body won't really let you. Hope you are ok.
Hi. I'm coming off tramadol at the moment. I found day 2 and 3 the hardest. Aches and pains throughout my body, freezing cold, involuntary movements, insomnia. (Possibly not the best idea, but I've found that, alcohol knocked back quickly, allow you at least 4 hours sleep, particularly if like me, you were tee-total.) Co-codamol and heat patches for pain. Try to keep doing stuff as it's gonna distract you and resting doesn't help. Every day since then has got better for me. You start with just a small amount in the morning and then it grows. The aches and pains for me are mostly gone now. Some people get sick when they come off it, but me - I seem to be forever hungry. God bless. Hels
