This is about the c-section question. Midwives are less likely to induce or try to artificially enhance labor, all things that can lead to a cesarean. They are more likely to allow you to deliver in positions that are more conducive to labor. While less convenient for them it allows you to work with gravity so you are less likely to be diagnosed with failure to progress and be wheeled into surgery. They are better trained for normal healthy births. Obgyns focus on pathology, their training is identify the problem and how to fix it.
