OK, I have to look up lacquer crack. I had the implants last summer, becuase I couldn't wear contact lenses any more...they were thick and preventing oxygen getting to the cornea, so there was microvascularization w/vessel growth threatening sight...so I got these IOL implants, both -16, which corrected my vision more than that--I am -2, -2.5, but the problem is no longer seeing in monovison (doubled 24/7), so I have prisms I can use to make things single, but can't tolerate for more than 30-60 minutes, and then yesterday I go to the optometrist, thinking to get contact lenses or something for the rest of the myopic correction, and the grid box they show you is wavy around the edges, and he says there is macular deg and now I have to look at that with MD on Thurs.
Hi there, can we talk sometime...I got the IOL procedure, which took me from -19, -22.5 to -2, -2.5....but I work off computer and lately having such trouble...also have to work part-time (48 y/o, otherwise exc health)...so today I go to OD for glasses check-up, my eyes are all wavey, he ends up calling the opthalmologist...showing signs of myopic deg, which of course I had but they are worse...I feel low...I need help from someone who has similar issues...sorry to ask. I also wrote Sophia. Telecon maybe about issues like this? For mutual support. Hard for me to focus on the screen for long. Thank you. I mean it!
