HelloCJsBack, i am 25 and 2 yrs ago i took a spill over a baby gate and the next day when i gotup from bed, i hit the floor in the worst pain imaginable. i'm a very tough person and it felt as though i got shot in the spine with a pistol. i got carried out and to the hospital. i was given percoset, prednisone, and valium at the er. the next thing i remember was 3 days later. i was on scripts for a couple of weeks, and with the help of a page of exercises intended for back injuries like this (slipped disc) and variating between generic aleve with naproxen, and motrin, my pain went from a 10+ down to a 4. after a couple of flare-ups over the past 2 years my pain is better but not gone. hope this helps. mechanicmike
