My name is Andrea and I have been a member here for a very long time. I have made some terrific and inspirational friends here along the way as well. I have found my niche in helping a variety of people in a variety of situations, from pregnancy to nursing,  a new healt ... [More] hy recipe or even reptile care. Along the way, I have learned a great deal and use that knowledge to help others as well.

I enjoy helping nursing moms make it through the trials and tribulations associated with nursing. It is not always pleasant, but worth the struggle in the end. I am the Co-CL of the Breastfeeding forum and am happy to help answer any questions you may have relating to nursing, pregnancy, or parenting, day or night either via private message or email. I am a married stay-at-home mom of three young boys and have actually been a member here since June 2003 (search Still_AndiJ) when I came looking for help coping with my 4th miscarriage. I found a great source of support and a place I fit well. Over the years, I have had 2 babies as a member here and have been a part of some amazing stories filled with hope and triumph. [Less]

My 3 boys are the reason I live, they are my greatest accomplishment in life. I love them as much as I have ever loved anyone (well, their daddy is pretty tops too) or anything. My oldest is Jonathan Avery, he was born on December 7, 2001 in Spokane. He weighed in a 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 19 inches long. He is a loving boy, brilliant in all things academic and a powerhouse. My middle boy is Tristan Asa, he was born on May 27, 2004 in Silverdale, WA. He weighed in at 8 pounds 7 ounces and 20.4 inches long. He is an active boy, so much so that even in utero he tied a true and tight knot in his cord and has not stopped moving since. He has a heart of gold, is a very active and busy little guy, and he a real thinker. The baby is Clayton Jack and he was born on October 28, 2006 in Silverdale, WA. He weighed in at 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 20.3 inches long. He was big enough to cause me to break my tailbone during a drug-free birth...ouch! He is a lovable, charismatic, charming, and hilarious little guy,. He loves his momma very deeply and cannot seem to decide if he is a dog or a T-rex, greeting complete strangers with a roar or a pant, depending on his mood. He is honestly the cutest and most engaging baby I have ever known, which works well for now...but may not translate into much as an adult,lol.
