Me too, I have the short wispy hairs growing back. I have thyroid nodules plus lupus plus high testosterone so have no idea what is causing it..I'm curious if your hair ever became normal again.
I have the same thing you descriped in your MedHelp post. Loss of hair (a lot seems to fall out), but also tons of my hairs that I shed are super short and thin... they don't resemble the long, healthy hair at all. This has been happening at least 1.5 years. And just a couple months ago, I found I have slightly elevated TSH (6.2), so I've been on thyroid meds for the last 7 weeks. I was wondering if you've had any changes or improvement in your hair.
