Absolutely! get it now, you will heal up better and have a more full life. Just make sure you stop taking meds. Those will be worse than the pain on your life if you don't be careful. With this kind of pain, it becomes habit and then you don't really know if you are better or not. The reason being when you go off opi's it feels like your neck pain and so you keep taking it and never find out how the surgery worked. Be honest with yourself is my advice. But get the surgery while young. I am 45 and had it 12 years ago. I wish I had it sooner. Good luck!
