About Me: Female, 65, Cliffside Park, NJ, member since Jul 2009
I am separated and live with my two adult children. I have been suffering with panic attacks (having trouble taking a deep breath) for about 40 years. It has been under control for about 15 years, but Friday it came back in full force. I called 911 Friday and went to
[More] the emergency room on Monday. Nothing was found wrong with me. I am fine when I am working, but I feel panicky constantly when I am at home and hate going to my bedroom now to lie down, which is something I always looked forward to. My hobbies are working on my home computer, watching my soaps, but not much else. I lead a quiet life. I go to work and come home. If you want to know anything else, just ask.
Just a quick note to say hi! I was wondering how you have been feeling? I had a bad day today myself, a panic attack. I just started new meds and have only been on them for a week, so I guess I have to give it time. Ok, hope you have a good day!
Just a quick note to say hi! I read your post about the trip to the ER, the same thing happened to me last year, I thought I was having a heart attack. Went to the ER they gave me and EKG and some other test, everything came back fine. Gave me Xanax and sent me home about an hour later with my sister. I was wondering if you tried Xanax? I am on Zoloft now along with Xanax as needed. Still have the attacks. But havent been back to the ER! Wish you Well!
