Wanted to say hi and really nice of you to help people understand tests... and see if you would answer question perplexing me. Angina past 6 months, nitro no longer working, two pos exercise stress tests w/ BP 190/90 when doc stopped them, but nuclear OK. Now looking at heart cath w/and without ergonovine to provoke spams. I can provoke them, 20-30 minutes after exercise! Why not let me do it and then cath? Not looking forward to it, but don't understand why MUST have irritant?
Have RSD and in school, use biofeedback to control pain, but anything... mamogram, even IV's have begun to put me right up to a 10... worried about cath, but more about ergonovine as have paradoxical reactions to many drugs?? Thanks, SBF
