My name is Heather, I am 28 years old, have been married for 6 years to my husband whom I met when I was 18. I have been a member of Medhelp going on 2 years now and stumbbled accross it when I had first started trying to conceive and had a missed miscarriage at 12 wee
[More]ks pregnant had to have a d&c. I went on to conceive my son 4 months later, and depended on this site for questions and support during my entire pregnancy. I have met some great women and still come on daily to ask questions, join conversations, and help people when I can.
My son is now 5 months old, and I am not only a new mom... but a new stay at home mom. I let my job of 5 years know last month I wasn't going to be returing from maternity leave. I was a Financial Sales Executive, loved my job and was great at it... but I love my baby more. I am still adjusting and really miss the social aspect of my work. I am extrememly outgoing and love to talk and make friends, so until I find an outlet I will be on daily lol. =)
Hi Heather how are you doing? Yes we are expecting a girl around thanksgiving. Fionn will just have turned 4 and Saoirse 2 so it will be a little hectic here for a while. I see you are starting potty training, I will be hoping to have Saoirse trained soon as I would really like to have only 1 child in diapers, but Saoirse is very strong willed and will only go potty when she wants to and I havent been urging it too much. Good luck.
Hi Heather! We are doing great! Ashlynn finished chemo last week, so we are down to scans every 3 months. We are super excited to be having a boy this time around, the pregnancy is going great. A few minor bumps here and there (a fainting episode, and a scare after the 18 week antomy scan). I have had a few extra ultrasounds and the little guy looks great, and no issues with his heart. They thought they saw an echognic foci on the heart, but the specialist said it was a misdiagnosis. Ashlynn keeps me very busy theses days and is a talking machine. She thinks we should name her brother 'Tummy'! I can't believe our babies are almost 2, crazy how fast time goes. Yay for trying for number 2 soon.
Oh gosh! I remember UTI's when pregnant with Brady. I'm going to get her to check my urine the next time I have an appointment too. I feel like I have to pee all the time! :( It's def not fun! Have you been taking cranberry extract pills? I should be taking some just for prevention!
