About Me: Female, 50, Collins, MS, member since Jul 2009
I'm a 44 yr old mother with a daughter that has been diagnosed with Gastroparesis, 3 yrs ago. I searching for any help I can find to help her. She suffers everyday. Her statement to me yesterday, Sunday 07/12/09 was, "Mama I can't take this anymore". PLEASE, anyone
[More] that have any information, please help me.
I also have gastroparesis and have seen a few GI doctors for it. I am finding the meds to not be helpful. I can relate to your daughter about not being able to take it. I have been to the er quite a few times for the pain and dehydration. I am now having to travel to the Mayo clinic to, hopefully, get some better answers. We don't have the money to do this, but some family has been able to help us get there. I really feel a lot of doctors who say they have experience with it, only have experience with simply, easy cases of it and when it gets to be more problematic, don't know how to deal with the patient:(
