Just a quick note to say hi! I, too, have herniated the same level 3 times! had laminectomy twice and now in tremendous pain daily! New neurosurgeon and 2nd opinion orthopedic want to do a fusion with a disc replacement - but have made it very clear with all my scar tissue and such, the 3rd surgery will not take away all my pain - only make it around 40% better in the back and it won't help my legs at all. Please get a second opinion - don't let the same doctor do the surgery. contact me if you have any questions. I have also been told there is no way to herniate a disc 3 times... well, hello. You can!
