Hi, it took weeks to a month or more for her to completely recover. I think I posted my experience with her ,Fat Cat on the www.thecatforum.com or the catsite.com, it's been so long I can't remember, was Dec 07. I am known as 4CatMom on those sites if you do a search for the posts. There are also some videos on youtube.com of cats with vestibular (to see if your cat has symptoms like them).
She started to get better once a few doses of meclizine got into her system. The cat with vestibular disease is nauseated and dizzy so your vet has got to give her something for that while the antibiotics and steroids have time to work. I believe over a week's time she went from not being able to walk to walking on her own with the occasional falling down. She kept a head tilt for several week
