Could you tell me anything about your molar pregnancy? Here's my situation: My hcg levels were 572 and then 2462 - quadrupled instead of doubled! 5 weeks. Doc saw what appeared to be a sac and then a few more (3-5) sacs of the same size near by. She said those could be blood-filled sacs of the egg trying to bury itself in the uterus, which is normal (but no common), it could be multiples, or it could be a molar pregnancy. She says has no feeling one way or the other (normal, multiples, or molar), but she did give me a pamphlet about molar pregnancies, which, in turn, makes me think that she thinks it's molar. I still have to wait 2 more weeks for another ultrasound but I am about to go crazy. Was yours similar?

Hi I have just read your story re delayed miscarriage and I am going through the same thing. I today went for a scan as got some bleeding yesterday and was worried. They said the sac looked about 8 weeks and baby about 5 weeks. I have to wait and see if it comes out naturally. Also going for another scan next week to check on things. I am so upset by it all, we were so happy as this is our first baby. The midwife says I should wait for a period then try again for a baby. Do I stop taking folic acid now, we are desperate for a baby, did you have a period after this? Many thanks, Natalie ***@****
