ADD and Lyme disease may have a link- please read

If your child has suffered from ADD, it may beneficial to have them tested for lyme disease. There is good information on the correlation between ADD and lyme disease. the standard test are very unreliable and one does not have to have a bulls eye rash to be infected with this tick borne disease. Please check out the information on youtube videos on lyme disease  an exceptionally good one is 'under our skin' Good luck

He was the fifth in your family to have ADHD?  Check into some information on ILADS and some lyme blogs, It is mentioned in the full movie, perhaps not in the clips. Check it out if you want. I had a spinal tap in my early stage and it didn't show up. Igenix is one of the most accurate labs, and it's worth knowing for certain if the bacteria has fully left his body, and the co infections; if he had any. I'm not affliliated with Igenix or  the movie. I'm just trying to educate those on how lyme can mimic ADHD and ADD.
Wish you well.

I knew for certain because he was the fifth person in my immediate family to have it so I knew exactly what the symptoms were. He was extremely hyperactive from the get go and I can date when he got bitten which wasn't until the age of 7. Nothing in his personality or actions changed after he got Lyme's.
I'm sorry if I sounded so dismissive before but I watched all the "under our skin" videos posted on youtube that I could find and only once did I hear the "word"  ADHD and that was on a long list of former wrong diagnos's. Is that the refference you are talking about?
We went to three doctors and were rushed to Mayo for a spinal. They proclaimed for the third time he did not have Lymes but he was so very ill that I had to take him back to our own hospital shortly after and that doctor was ahead of his time. He told me that the disease progresses so that your body doesn't build up enough antogins until it's too late, the symptoms have relaxed, and can't be treated so he started my son on heavy antibiotics right then.
Thanks for your well wishes. The videos were alarming and informative anyway so it was worth investigating.

I respect your opinion. my question is when did he first contract lyme? How do you know for certain that he didn't have it before being diagnosed with ADHD (being that standard lyme testing has been proven to be profoundly unreliable). Please just check out the video and look up other info., on the correlations. I'm not claiming to be an expert, I'm concerned.  Good luck to you and your son.

Excuse me but the whole concept of this seems pattently ridiculous. My youngest has ADHD with a big H and he carries Lyme's but he had the ADHD WAY before he contracted the other. I will certainly check out the video but I start out as a disbeliever.
