Adderall XR medication and pre-employment physical

I am prescribed Adderall XR 30 mg. I stopped taking it because I did not want to report it on my pre-employment physical. When I got to my appointment many forms kept asking  me about it and I wanted to be honest so I reported it. I have to get a doctors note and that is ok. However now I am really worried because I am afraid it won't show up on my urine test. My question is if it doesn't show up on the urine test will they disqualify me because  I did not take it everyday as prescribed (as the bottle says) and I won't get the job? Please help someone?

It should not be of a concern.  A company cannot make you take medication.  If you had lied and said that you did not take medication and the Adderall showed up in  the test, then that would definitely be grounds for not hiring.  Hope this helps.  Happy New Year.

I got the doctors note and turned it in today to the correct place, It says I have been under medical care for ADHD and that I am currently taking Adderall XR 30mg  I tablet a day, It says my health condition had been stable and well controlled on medication. My question is do you think this will keep me from getting the job if the urine test comes out negative and I am suppose to take it daily? or do you think it is not that big of a concern?

Tell them you take it on an " as needed" basis.  That's very common for an adult with ADHD.
