Am I Screwed? D:

Okay so heres the deal. I was prescribed 60 mg vyvanse, 8 months ago. The only reason i was prescribed them is because i have add. A good reason of coarce, but the truth is the reason i suggested this medicene was so i could get really tweaked off of 120mg every 2 days. I know ,very stupid. But i kept up this habbit for the whole 8 months i was prescribed them. Whats scaring the hell out of me is they took me off of it just 5 days ago, and put me on an alternative, non-narcotic medication. My fear is, about my physical health, and my phycological dependency to this drug. I have at least five head rushes a day last last more than 40 seconds and lose my vision completly during the whole time of the head rush. (Where you stand up and get incredibly woozy.) I have rappid muscel spasms... (Twitches if you will) my callor bone seems to hurt alot and  the left side is bigger then the right. My cornia in my right eye is swelling up terribly. (A cornia is that pink thing in the corner of your eye) my left eye now seems to be lazy, and i have never have had any problems with my eyes. And i cant concentrate when i need to what so ever. I will be reading a sentence and ill have to read it 4 TIMES FOR IT TO REGISTER IN MY HEAD. Its already taken me 15 minutes to write this much. But what im asking is.... AM I ****** IN EVERY WAY SHAPE AND FORM?! because over the past five days these symtoms have been getting very intense. So basicly if you could tell me how long theses withdraws would take to leave and 18 year old male, cuz honestly, these are the worst withdraws ive ever experianced

Ime fine now cuz they put me back on vyvance. But they switched me to intunive. And o told my doctor how much i was taking along with other drugs. And she told me that my brain can only get rid of 70 mg of the dextroamphetamins every 24 hours. So by taking 120mg every two days i forced my brain to store a shitload of adrenaline boosting, amphetamin based chemicals... Not goood.

Saw your post to Ryann and you may hit on something.  If you read all of Ryann's posts - it turned out he was hypoglycemic.  Here are the symptoms for that.
    Adrenergic manifestations

    Shakiness, anxiety, nervousness
    Palpitations, tachycardia
Sweating, feeling of warmth (although sweat glands have muscarinic receptors, thus "adrenergic manifestations" is not entirely accurate)
    Pallor, coldness, clamminess
    Dilated pupils (mydriasis)
Feeling of numbness "pins and needles" (paresthesia)

Glucagon manifestations

    Hunger, borborygmus
    Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort
    Headache

Neuroglycopenic manifestations

    Abnormal mentation, impaired judgment
Nonspecific dysphoria, moodiness, depression, crying, exaggerated concerns
    Negativism, irritability, belligerence, combativeness, rage
    Personality change, emotional lability
Fatigue, weakness, apathy, lethargy, daydreaming, sleep
    Confusion, amnesia, dizziness, delirium
Staring, "glassy" look, blurred vision, double vision
Flashes of light in the field of vision
Automatic behavior, also known as automatism
    Difficulty speaking, slurred speech
Ataxia, incoordination, sometimes mistaken for "drunkenness"
Focal or general motor deficit, paralysis, hemiparesis
    Paresthesia, headache
    Stupor, coma, abnormal breathing
    Generalized or focal seizures

Its possible that this is what is going on with you.  Typically withdrawal from stim meds if you have AD/HD is no big deal.  The only thing I could find on  Abrupt cessation was this. " Amphetamines have been extensively abused. Tolerance, extreme psychological dependence, and severe social disability have occurred. There are reports of patients who have increased the dosage to levels many times higher than recommended. Abrupt cessation following prolonged high-dosage administration results in extreme fatigue and mental depression; changes are also noted on the sleep EEG. Manifestations of chronic intoxication with amphetamines may include severe dermatoses, marked insomnia, irritability, hyperactivity, and personality changes. The most severe manifestation of chronic intoxication is psychosis, often clinically indistinguishable from schizophrenia."    And, of course at 120 mg you were quite a bit over the 70mg max.
And, it may be the new meds are doing this to you.  Not sure what you are on.  I think that you should go back to your doc and describe what is happening to you and let them sort it out.   Also I would google hypoglycemia and maybe try some suggestions for that.  Change in diet etc. and see what happens.
Wish, I could help more, but this (outside of Ryann) is the first I have ever heard of this.  Please let me know what happens, so maybe I can help the next person too.  Good Luck!
